The signals from the high-precision electronic sensors are digitized and evaluated and logged by the software.

Fully automatic measurement and qualification of pressing tools

Fully automatic measurement of tool data and tapping position. Storage and transfer of the data in a database. Qualification of the pressing tools with regard to burr-free / low-burr pressing.

Fully automatic qualification, measurement and calibration of pressing tools - punch, die and core rod

The TCQ system is used to qualify and calibrate compaction tools in toolmaking and the press shop before the pressing process.

The quality of the interplay between punch and die is assessed, the punch lengths are automatically measured and press-relevant data such as tapping height is detected.

The assessment of the interplay between the upper and lower punch and die provides a qualitative statement on the

  • accuracy of fit / press gap between punch and die
  • current wear condition of the punch and die system

Measuring and storing the data relevant to the pressing process

  • Height of the die
  • Tapping heights of the upper and/or lower punches
  • Length and plunge position of upper punch
  • Length and ejection position of lower punch
  • Length of core rod

are used to set up the press more quickly and reliably.

The data is recorded and evaluated fully automatically by the control system or software. The data can optionally be assigned to the pressing tools via an identification system (RFID,…) and stored in a database.

The TCQ system is available for all commercially available reference clamping systems and also supports multi axial compaction tools – closed, open and splitted dies.
