Measurement and Alignment Systems

Measuring and alignment systems for compation and machining processes

The use of reference clamping systems for machining processes and the pressing of metal and ceramic powders result in a significant increase in productivity and quality. At the same time, the demands on tool, press and adapter accuracy and on the accuracy of the alignment of reference clamping systems to each other are increasing.

A range of measuring and alignment systems guarantees increased accuracy requirements and easy access to pressing and machining processes with reference clamping systems.

Measurement Alignment

A range of measuring and alignment systems guarantees increased accuracy requirements and easy access to pressing and machining processes with reference clamping systems.

Measuring systems support presses, adaptors and reference clamping systems from a wide range of manufacturers.

The measuring systems in combination with mobile hardware and very easy-to-use and modularly expandable software modules represent cost-effective, high-precision metrological solutions.

The two measuring systems APC-4i and TPS-3i form the core functions and ensure an optimally aligned production system.

APC-4i measures the geometry of the chucks on the press levels in relation to the guides of the press. Based on the measurement results, the APC-4i system immediately calculates the geometry correction of the press levels

TPS-3i measures the current position of the reference clamping system in relation to the defined reference point – usually the die reference clamping system. The displacement system moves the reference clamping system in the best position and align and fix it to the second reference chuck.

APC-4i and TPS-3i - an optimally aligned production system

The measuring, alignment and analysis systems work on the basis of high-precision electronic displacement measuring systems. The measurement signals are amplified by special electronics, digitized and evaluated, displayed and digitally logged by measurement software. The software is operated via the touch screen of the measuring computer.

Force and temperature can optionally be measured and superimposed on the displacement measurements. This option can be used for the analysis of compaction processes and life cycle investigations of presses and adaptors.

A small remote LCD display is optionally available for the TPS-3i system for presses and adaptors that are particularly difficult to access.

The measuring systems can be expanded modularly in combination with the MRTablet measuring modules with MMUSB and the corresponding software and measuring device.

Measuring systems support presses, adaptors and reference clamping systems from all commercially available manufacturers.

The measuring and alignment systems are available for all reference clamping systems currently available on the market.

Measuring, alignment and analysis tasks can also be obtained as a service from ProGrit.
