Functionality

The changeable plates are screwed directly into the die level of the press. Positioning takes place via the SCS K cone positioning system. Used for coaxial and multiaxial compaction combined with high pull-out and compaction forces.

The MCS C manual change plate system is used for the fast, high-precision, positioned change of different die plates. The MCS C die plates are available with a wide range of mechanical interfaces and positioning systems on the top side, thus guaranteeing the most flexible operation of the press.

In addition to the standard versions of the MCS C removable plate shown, removable plates with a customized interface on the top of the removable plate are also available.

The MCS C removable plate can accommodate matrices of different sizes and shapes, referenced and unreferenced.

Existing dies (legacy tools) are clamped unreferenced, i.e. without reference cone SCS K, according to design A with a bayonet clamping ring on the MCS C change plate.
